Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions, referred to throughout as the T&C McCortex OI, set out the basis on which you may access and use the McCortex OI workspace. They form a user agreement between you and the platform, covering how an account is opened, how the service may be used, and what each party can expect from the other. Read them before you create an account, since using the workspace after registration is treated as acceptance of the terms in force at that time.

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, funding a balance or otherwise using McCortex OI, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions in full. If any part of this agreement does not suit your circumstances, the appropriate course of action is to stop using the workspace rather than use it selectively. Continued use after any update to the T&C McCortex OI constitutes acceptance of the revised version, which is why it is worth checking this page from time to time. These terms sit alongside any other policy published on the site, such as the privacy and risk disclosure page, and together they describe the full relationship between you and the platform. Nothing in this document should be read as a substitute for your own judgement about whether the service is right for you.

Eligibility and account responsibility

Access to McCortex OI is intended for adults capable of entering into a binding agreement under the rules that apply where they live. Availability can vary by jurisdiction, and it remains the user’s responsibility to confirm that using an AI-assisted trading workspace is permitted in their own location before registering. You agree to provide accurate information during account creation and to keep it current, since inaccurate details can affect verification, funding or withdrawal requests. Each account is personal: sharing login credentials, allowing a third party to operate your account, or opening multiple accounts to circumvent account rules is not permitted. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for any activity that takes place once your account has been accessed, whether that access was authorised or not. If you suspect your account has been compromised, you should take steps to secure it and contact support without delay.

Permitted and prohibited use

McCortex OI may be used to explore, deploy and monitor trading strategies across the markets the workspace supports, and to manage risk limits, alerts and reporting connected to your own trading activity. You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the underlying systems, to interfere with other users’ access, or to use automated tools to extract data beyond what the interface itself provides. Attempting to manipulate the platform’s risk controls, execution logic or reporting in a way that misrepresents your activity is also prohibited. These account rules exist to keep the workspace usable and fair for everyone, and breaching them may lead to restrictions on your account as described later in this document. Where a feature is described as available under certain conditions, such as a minimum balance or a completed verification step, that condition forms part of permitted use.

Risk acknowledgement

Trading digital assets carries substantial risk, including the total loss of capital, and this applies whether trades are placed manually or through an automated strategy. McCortex OI applies models and risk limits to reduce certain operational risks, but it cannot remove market risk itself, and no configuration of the workspace changes the underlying volatility of crypto markets. Past performance and any illustrative figures shown on this site or within the workspace do not guarantee future results, and outcomes will vary between users, strategies and market conditions. Nothing on this website or within the platform constitutes investment advice, and any decision to fund an account, select a strategy or set a risk limit is made entirely by you. Before committing capital, you should consider your own financial situation and only use funds you are prepared to put at risk. This risk acknowledgement is a core part of the user agreement and applies regardless of which strategy or feature you choose to use.

Limitation of liability

McCortex OI is provided on an as-is basis, and while reasonable effort goes into keeping the workspace available and accurate, no guarantee is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suited to every individual’s needs. To the extent permitted by applicable rules, the platform is not liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, or indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including losses connected to connectivity issues, third-party infrastructure or delays in order execution. Liability for matters that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection rules is not affected by this section. Where a dispute arises over the interpretation or application of these terms, the intention is to resolve it through direct communication between you and the platform in the first instance, using the contact channels published on this site, before any other dispute resolution route is considered. This approach is designed to resolve most concerns quickly without unnecessary formality.

Changes to the service and to these terms

McCortex OI is under continuous development, and features, strategies, interface elements or risk controls may be added, adjusted or withdrawn as the workspace evolves. The platform may also update these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes to the service, to clarify existing wording, or to respond to how the workspace is actually being used. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and where practical a reasonable effort will be made to flag significant updates within the workspace itself. It remains good practice to review the T&C McCortex OI periodically, particularly before making a decision that depends on a specific feature or account rule. Continued use of the platform after a change takes effect is treated as your acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

Either you or McCortex OI may end this agreement at any time. You are free to stop using the workspace and close your account whenever you choose, subject to settling any open positions or obligations tied to active strategies. The platform may suspend or terminate an account where these terms have been breached, where account rules around eligibility or permitted use have not been followed, or where continued access could expose the platform or other users to risk. Where practical, notice will be given before an account is restricted, though certain situations may require immediate action to protect the integrity of the service. Termination does not remove your responsibility for activity that took place while the account was active, and sections of this agreement that are meant to survive closure, such as risk acknowledgement and limitation of liability, continue to apply after an account is closed.
